The following is a description of some of the key pages and features that are available in our web publishing system.
This feature allows you to create standard web site pages such as your Home, About, and Contact pages. Customize each web page with its own image. Your About page also gives you the ability to provide a broader picture of yourself or organization by adding a list of associations, affiliations, credits, honors or audition call backs.
The Links manager helps you organize your list of web site links, whether you are providing links to resources, other sites you have or exchanging links with other sites.
Writing articles is a great way to build credibility to market yourself, product or service. Our Articles module enables you to create, manage and promote your articles throughout your site. It comes with its own RSS feed so that your visitors and community can get your latest insights. This module also supports AddThis.com to allow you to track where your articles are being bookmarked across social bookmarking sites.
The Blog feature lets you communicate your thoughts, musings, ideas and commentaries on your site. Cultivate your own community by allowing site visitors to contribute comments on your blog postings.
The Calendar feature allows you to keep your supporters, customers, patrons or partners informed of upcoming dates such as meetings, performances, showings, training sessions, etc. You can also include weekly standing dates with a single date entry. To help them find your events, your event venue address is linked to MapQuest to provide directions to your event location.
The Email subscription helps you manage your communications with your list of customers, patrons or subscribers. They can opt-in to receiving your newsletter, that you generate from your account, and can unsubscribe from it through your web site as well.
You can choose to receive notifications of when new subscribers join your list and have send a personalized welcome or thank you email automatically sent to everyone who signs-up.
News & Notes allows you keep the buzz going and keep your community informed by posting announcements, promotions, achievements, events, news, updates and press releases.
The FAQ feature allows you to be proactive in addressing questions that most people may have about you, your organization or business. FAQ’s can be your first line of customer support, provide information to prospective customers and business partners, or information to the press and media.
The Department profiles allows larger organizations, who have departments or groups, to provide profiles online. This feature also allows you to associate entries from the Program Profiles feature with each department to better organize and present a complete picture of your organizations’ structure.
Program profiles is designed for small businesses and organizations who want have program information they want to promote. Whether it is offering training programs, service programs, or church group programs, this feature will allow you manage it in your site.
The Profiles manager lets you provide profiles of your key leaders, management staff, band members, group leaders, or executive leaders, with pictures, titles and background information.
The PDF Download manage lets you upload PDF’s of reports, forms, and other documents that you want to make available to site visitors, customers, or clients. Reduce your support cost and save on paper by making them available online.
The Policies manager enables you to present and organize your online policy and procedure information. A great tools “Terms of Service” or “Privacy” policies, as well as procedures that could be helpful to customers, clients or organization members.
The References feature helps you organize and present your references and testimonials. References, customer comments and testimonials are a great way to promote confidence in your abilities, services or products.
The Services pages gives you the ability describe detail explanations for the services you offer.
The Store feature gives you the ability to sell products and services directly to customers, using a Paypal account. Sell CD’s, DVD’s, training classes, books, T-shirts, buttons, mugs, caps, etc. Group your product or service offerings into sections for better convenience.
Album Profiles manager give you the opportunity to market your CD products online. You can create links for each CD track the appropriate Mp3 file in your Mp3 Library, to complete the profile. Add a Paypal “Buy Now” or “Add to Cart” button to the profile and sell your products directly.
The Mp3 Library manager gives you the ability to upload audio files for playback online. Provide samples of your music, speaking engagements, training sessions, or your voiceover work for commercials, movies, television or radio. If you want, you can select audio files you want visitors to download for free.
Art Galleries manager gives creative artist such as painters, sketchers, sculptors, potters, and photographers, the ability to upload images of their work and organize them into various galleries and themes. You can also include a Paypal “Buy Now” or “Add to Cart” button to sell your are work online.
The Photo Gallery helps you organize and sharing your photos and images. Upload images to create galleries of events and activities, your facilities, your staff, step-by-step visual instructions, photo shoots, or to show the many faces of your acting or performance abilities.
The Video Library is a flexible tool for marketing yourself online. If you have uploaded a video onto a video sharing site, such as YouTube, you don’t need to upload it again to your site. You can create a video library entry to your shared video using its embedding link code and making a profile of it. Your site visitors can view it without leaving your site. Link to your music, training, do-it-yourself, or illustration videos, or if you are an actor, upload and link to your video reels to talent agents to view. You can also upload Flash or Quicktime video snippets as well that are not hosted on another site.
To help you market your content, we have added RSS feeds to particular modules so that people can subscribe to your content. The following modules have RSS feeds: Albums, Art Images, Articles, Blog entries, Mp3s’, and Video’s.
You also get a custom RSS sitemap feed to submit to search engines for one stop shopping and to make indexing and cataloging the pages in your site easy.
Our Articles and Blog modules support AddThis.com. Enter your AddThis.com account information and track where your articles or blog entries are being bookmarked across social bookmarking sites.
For creative customers who use our Art Images, Mp3, and Video modules, we have included an “Email to Friend” form so that site visitors can share your content with their friends. Each email generated by the “Email to Friend” form contains a link back to the the art image, Mp3 profile or video page, along with your web site address.
We have completely revamped the site layout tool so that you can customize your site layout. Start with one of our 1, 2, or 3 column base designs and customize it to fit your creative needs. Choose from a list of standard layout parts such as a Header, Navigation, Main Content and Footer or create your own layout section.
With each Standard or custom created layout section, you can assign and create your own Widgets to be rendered in a layout section. Some of the standard widgets include Site Navigation and side bar promotion Widgets such as Articles, Blog entries, Photo’s, Mp3s, Art Images, Albums/CD’s and News & Notes entries,. You can create your own custom Widget where you can link to images, add text or hyperlinks to your site pages. The types of Standard Widgets you are able to use will depend on the features you have in your site.
You can still upload you own site layout background images.
You can customize your site menu navigation labels and sort them to appear in any order you want. You can choose to make them appear or not in the menu. Depending on your site design, you can assign top level pages to appear in a secondary menu in a side column as well as create a footer menu for pages such as your Policies and Contact page.
Depending on the features in your site, you can choose information to dynamically promote and draw attention to throughout your site. If your site has our Blog, Calendar, News & Notes, Mp3s, Albums, Art Gallery or Photo Gallery feature, you can select entries to display on your Home page or in a side column of your site.
You have control over whether people can comment or not on any of your blog entries, on an entry-by-entry bases.
To help your site visitors remember your brand, we support the uploading of favicons, that little icon that appears before web site addresses in the browser location window.
Everyone wants their site pages to be indexed and optimized for search engines so that your site and content can be found. To help you take advantage of search engines, we have enabled you to customize the browser title, meta tag keywords and meta tag page description for every page in your site. The benefit is that you can target each site page content to increase the chances that it shows in relevant searches.
